Featured Program
Governors State University's Master of Science in Human Resource Management is designed for working professionals who are ready to advance their careers in people management, organizational development, and HR strategy. The program builds expertise across core areas including talent acquisition, employee relations, compensation and benefits, labor relations, and workforce planning. Small class sizes, an AACSB-accredited curriculum, and faculty with direct HR leadership experience create a learning environment where students develop the strategic and analytical skills needed to lead human resources functions at the highest level.
GovState's MSHRM is offered fully online with the option to take select courses on campus, giving students the flexibility to earn their degree without stepping away from their careers. The program does not require GMAT or GRE scores for admission, making it accessible to a wide range of working professionals. Graduates are prepared to pursue leadership roles including Human Resources Director, HR Business Partner, Talent Management Leader, and People and Culture Manager, across industries and organizational settings.

GovState undergraduate and graduate tuition is among the lowest in the state of Illinois. University scholarships and College of Business-specific scholarships are available in addition to other financial aid options. Student employment and graduate assistantships are also available.
