Information Technology Services supports the university community by providing academic computing, administrative computing and telecommunications.
Mission Statement
The mission of GovState's Information Technology Services Department is to support the university's academic and administrative activities by providing high-quality computing, networking, and telecommunications services in a manner that is both efficient and effective.

Many of our most common requests for assistance are available in the accordions to the right.
Students can find key information and resources in the MyGSU portal.
Faculty and staff can access important information through the Employee Portal.
Password Reset information can be found the the Password Reset webpage.
GovState offers a robust offering of Computer labs with both Windows and Macintosh devices. Current Students, Faculty and Staff can view open computers in the Campus Tech Lab Locator Tool located in the MyGSU Portal. The Campus Tech Lab Locator Tool can search by software or computer type.
Community members who wish to use computers may do so on a first come, first serve basis. Check in GovState Library located in D2400. The Library offers a selection of Windows devices. Check the GovState Library Hours online. Computers will have the Office 365 suite of applications and Adobe reader by default. Additional software is dependent on licensing and no software may be downloaded by individuals using the computers. Individuals may use the computers in the Computer Connections Central (The Cube Computer Lab Room D2430) or Library computers. Computers are also available in the hallway outside of the Cube and Library.

The Computer Connections Central (The Cube Computer Lab) D2430 offers public printing. Printing costs $0.10 a page for Black and White or $0.15 a page for Color print.
GovState also provides public copy machines on the first floor off of the D Atrium for a cost of $0.10 a copy.
Public wireless access is available on campus to those visiting GovState via the GSU-GUEST network.
There is also wireless access in West Lot 1 parking lot available to the GovState community.

Services Provided
The GovState Information Technology Services department provides students, faculty, and staff with essential technology resources, including campus Wi-Fi, computer labs, printers, and the full Microsoft Office 365 suite. They also offer technical support and access to other helpful software tools to enhance productivity and learning.
Communications, Documentation, and Training
Communication, Documentation and Training is responsible for creating tutorials and guides for Faculty, Staff and Students alike.
Enterprise Applications
The Enterprise Application Services team supports University wide applications such as Ellucian Colleague and Kronos.
Information Security and Compliance
Information Security and Compliance is responsible for all cybersecurity at GovState.
Network Services
The Network Services team is responsible for the Wi-Fi network on campus, telecommunications for the university, and maintaining our servers.
Support Services
Support Services is your first call for all campus technology issues. Support Services is responsible for all AV needs, deployment of technology and repair and support.
The Cube
The Cube is the campus computer lab that is open to the public. The Cube provides modern audio/visual technology, computers, printers and smart classroom support. Computers and printers are available for guests.
Contact Information Technology Services
Often times, when Faculty, Staff, or Students experience an issue they can often find a solution or tutorial in the ITS Help Guides (Student ITS Help Guides or Employee ITS Help Guides). This tutorial library is a great place to start. If you cannot find the answer to your question in the tutorial library, then contacting the Information Technology Services (ITS) Service (Help) Desk is the best course of action.
The Cube's Summer Hours:
Monday through Friday: 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Saturday and Sunday: Closed. The ITS Service (Help) Desk observes all official University holidays and campus closures.
