Amy Schoenberg studied abroad in Rome, Italy in Fall 2000 through College of DuPage. She returned to Italy to learn Italian and received a B.A. in Italian Studies from The American University of Rome and a laurea in Philosophy from Roma Tre University. She has extensive experience working with study abroad students as an on-site program coordinator in Italy and travelling to various countries. After spending thirteen years abroad, she is excited to share her love for education abroad and encourage others to grow personally, academically and professionally.

At GSU, Amy is in charge of coordinating all study abroad programs. She works on program development and manages the administrative process for students participating in programs whether they are faculty-led, run by our partner school or external programs offered by study abroad program providers. She also assists the Office of International Services with cultural programming on and off campus, advises J-1 students and scholars, and acts as the liaison for GSU university partners around the world.

Amy is proud to be a part of a great team of GSU faculty and staff who support students in achieving their education abroad goals and becoming global citizens.
