Family Development Center Book Drive

Your donation to the Family Development Center (FDC) will provide books and arts and crafts supplies for children who are endlessly curious and creative. The Governors State University Family Development Center promotes a lifelong love of learning through their NAEYC accredited programs. Over 120 children, from infants to age eight, are cared for and educated at the Center.

Please consider supporting their love of learning by donating books or art supplies or providing a monetary gift to the Center.

How can you donate?

  • Place your donation of books and art supplies in one of the boxes located on campus: first floor of G building; first floor of D building near the main staircase;
    and, outside the GovState Library. (Boxes will be out from February 1 thru February 14.)
  • The FDC teachers have curated a list of books and supplies and ordering is simple!
    Just visit their Amazon wish list and in a few clicks you can send your donation straight to the Family Development Center.
  • Or, monetary gifts can be given through the GovState Foundation using the button above.

Thank you to those who have already generously donated!

This Book Drive is sponsored by the Office of the Provost and the College of Education and Human Development.
