Giving to the Center for Performing Arts

Creating Compassionate Communities

The Creating Compassionate Communities Series (CCC) builds on the CPA”s commitment to social justice through artistic literacy. CCC projects delve into sensitive and divisive topics of race, class, gender, religion, ability, and sexual orientation with the goal of bringing people together through conversation and performances. CCC supports artists by sharing their authentic stories, creating a safe space for community and campus members to connect, process, heal, and seek equity-focused solutions together.

Children's Mainstage Tickets Fund

The Children's Mainstage Tickets Fund allows your Center to better serve families by keeping children's ticket prices affordable and consistent across our season regardless of cost of the seat.

Opera and Beyond

Inspired by one of the Center’s original board members and opera aficionado, Inge Marra, the fund ensures the continuation of classical vocal music, including our Opera Up Close series, as well as art songs, operetta, and classical musical theater. Ensures the continuation of showcasing operatic talent from Chicagoland and beyond!

Ralph Medhurst Arts in Education Fund

The Ralph Medhurst Arts in Education Fund gives the gift of live theater to underserved youth who may never have had access to the arts. This ties into school curriculum standards and allows for show tickets, teacher study guides & books to be provided at a cost of $10 per student!
