Fund for Education Abroad
Awards: $1,250-5,000 (short-term & semester) & $10,000 (year)
Gilman Scholarship
- Multiple awards of up to $5,000
- Must be a Federal Pell Grant recipient
- Minimum of 3 weeks abroad
Critical Language Scholarship
- Must choose a critical language to study for one year
- U.S. undergraduate and graduate students may apply
- Multiple awards of up to $8,000
- Some language experience may be required
Freeman-Asia Awards
- Can be applied to study in East or Southeast Asia
- Multiple awards of up to $3,000-7,000 depending on length of stay
Fulbright Scholarships
- Can be applied to study in East Asia-Pacific, Europe & Eurasia, Middle East & North Africa, South & Central Asia, Sub-Saharan Africa, and the Western Hemisphere
- Award amounts vary
Boren Awards
- Can be applied to study in Africa, Asia, Central & Eastern Europe, Eurasia, Latin America, and the Middle East
- Multiple awards of up to $8,000-20,000 depending on length of stay
