Snow JamHall of Governors, 12pm–2pm

Enjoy outdoor fun in the snow with indoor winter games, music, snacks and inflatables. Play winter-themed games and celebrate a new semester! All students are welcome.

National Day of Racial HealingEngbretson Hall, 1pm-2pm

The GovState community will learn about the National Day of Racial Healing and share in a listening circle. Participants will receive a racial healing bracelet and the Little Book of Racial Healing. Refreshments served. Visit www.govst.edu/DEI/ for more information.

International Mix n MingleEngbretson Hall, 2pm-4pm

Celebrate Welcome Week at GovState and make friends from all around the world at our Mix n Mingle event. Hosted by the International Culture Organization. Games, food, music and prizes.



Jaguar Student Media WorkshopHall of Governors, 11am-3pm

Calling all students who are interested in Radio, TV, News, or Media! Come interact with current Jaguar media staff from Radio Jaguar, GSUTV, and the Phoenix News. This is a great way to hear yourself on the radio, see yourself on tv and more! No media experience necessary!

Arctic Affection: Notes of HopeHall of Honors, 4pm-6pm

The Kaleidoscope Service Council in partnership with BAG Lady Outreach invites all GovState students to assemble bags containing essential items along with notes of encouragement. Participants will enjoy a warm waffle on a stick immediately following.

Barbie MovieEngbretson Hall, 7pm

It’s Barbie’s world, we’re just living in it! Wear pink and come out to watch the Barbie movie with Student Activities Council. Wear your best pink outfit for a chance to win a $50 Visa Gift Card. Come showcase your talent or have fun singing karaoke! All forms of artistic expressions are welcome. Boba tea will be provided for the first 50 students.
