A student having earned a bachelor's degree may earn a subsequent bachelor's degree at Governors State University.

- This policy applies to undergraduate students seeking a subsequent bachelor’s degree.
- A student having earned a bachelor's degree may earn a subsequent bachelor's degree at Governors State University by:
- Applying and being admitted to the undergraduate degree program.
- Meeting requirements of the Academic Residency Requirements for Degree Program Policy for the subsequent degree.
- Meeting residency requirements in the subsequent degree program. Credit hours applied toward the first degree may not be included in the credit hours required to meet residency requirements.
- Completing all requirements of the subsequent degree program as stipulated in the student study plan
- Meeting university, college/school, and/or major degree requirements for the subsequent degree.
