  1. Purpose

    This policy addresses the institutional requirements for the development and posting of informational items on the Governors State University (GovState) Television Monitors and Cable Access Channel.

  2. Information Posting
    1. Faculty, staff, and student organizations who wish to have information and announcements posted on the GovState monitors and the cable access channel must submit the information to the Office of Public Affairs (PA). This submission process does not apply to GovState coursework. 
    2. Public Affairs will review the information for accuracy and compliance with University standards (reference Policy 49 for additional information). 
    3. Once approved, PA will coordinate the posting of the information. 
    4. The content for the postings must comply with applicable federal, state, and local laws. 
    5. The content for the postings must comply with University policies.
