Build Up the Human Spirit Both Socially and Intellectually
The Literacy Zone is a special space in the College of Education and Human Development, under the direction of the School Psychology program, designed to provide evidence-based services to the communities surrounding Governors State University. Graduate students enrolled in the School Psychology program will deliver the interventions and be supervised by faculty who are licensed School Psychologists and/or certified teachers in special education.
The faculty of the School Psychology program has over 60 years of combined clinical experience across multiple settings, including special/regular education classrooms, foster care agencies, juvenile justice facilities, and public/private schools.
