About the Program

The School of Extended Learning at Governors State University is thrilled to announce a major milestone for our premier workforce and life-skills initiative: The Jaguar Jumps Comprehensive Transition Program (CTP).

What Makes Jaguar Jumps CTP Different?

  • Credential-Awarding Pathway: A two-year program that includes two summer internships, plus a 32-Credit-Hour Certificate. Students are integrated into the college community at GovState.

  • Financial Aid Available: This program is eligible for FAFSA and Comprehensive Transition Program (CTP) funding. Students who do not qualify for FAFSA may be eligible for support through the Department of Rehabilitation Services (DORS).

  • Holistic Student Support: Features specialized 1-on-1 educational coaching, hands-on job site internships, and life-skills cohorts running through Spring 2028.

Who is Eligible?

This inclusive, multi-semester certificate program is uniquely designed to support neurodivergent students navigating the leap into higher education and regional workforce pipelines.

Must be enrolled in the Jaguar Jumps program to participate.
