The First-Generation Center (FGC) supports first-generation students at Governors State University by promoting equitable access to resources that foster academic success, personal growth, and professional development. We cultivate an inclusive community that values students’ unique identities and experiences while empowering them to thrive, lead, and become advocates for future generations.
Who We Serve
All current GovState students whose parents or legal guardians have not earned at least a Bachelor's Degree.
