Both parties must then carefully examine each match to determine if the text is properly cited or if further attribution is needed. SafeAssign can only process files that can be converted to plain text. This includes common formats like Microsoft Word documents (DOC, DOCX, DOCM), Rich Text Format (RTF), HTML (HTM, HTML), and plain text files (TXT, TEXT). Additionally, PDF and Open Document Text (ODT) files are also supported. For submitting multiple files, instructors can compress them into a ZIP archive, provided all files within the ZIP adhere to the supported formats. PowerPoint files (PPT) are also compatible.
