Blackboard Learn Ultra Timeline
Transitioning to Learn Ultra is a critical process that requires careful planning and execution. CTL created a structured timeline that outlines the key phases involved in this transition.
The Spring 2025 semester marked the beginning of our transition, with over 30 pilot courses. Our plan is to progressively increase the number of courses transitioning to Ultra each semester, with a goal of completing the transition for all courses by Fall 2026.
Ultra Course View adoption will initially be slower, with early adopters embracing the platform while others observe and evaluate its potential benefits. As instructors become more familiar with the Ultra interface and its features, and as training and support resources become more readily available, adoption typically increases in subsequent terms.
