Governors State University has made the decision to suspend new applications for the Master of Arts in Clinical Psychology program.

Our faculty remain committed to supporting and training the students currently enrolled in the Master of Arts in Clinical Psychology program through to their successful graduation. During this transition, we want to assure our current students that their academic and professional development will remain our top priority.

While the Clinical Psychology MA program has suspended new applications, the university will continue to offer admission to the Master’s in Counseling and Specialist in School Psychology programs. These programs maintain the same dedication to excellence in education, supervised practice, and student support.
