Early Childhood Education, Post-BAC SPED Approval
Earn Your Early Childhood Education Special Education (SPED) Approval (PreK only)
Due to the ongoing teacher shortage, the current generation of children is at risk of receiving inadequate guidance, which may affect their educational development. Licensed teachers can earn an advanced certificate to add a subsequent endorsement to their Professional Educator License (PEL).
Candidates must have their Professional Educator License (PEL) and an endorsement in Early Childhood Education
Career Enhancements
Obtaining your ECE - Special Education Approval increases your impact, as you will be able to reach students with disabilities in PreK settings. With this certificate, you can pursue roles in various educational settings, including public schools, private schools, and daycare centers.
