CTL Department - Student Blackboard Support
The Center for Teaching and Learning (CTL) serves as a resource for both students and instructors, offering comprehensive support for navigating Blackboard and its integrated suite of educational technologies. Within Blackboard shells, the CTL provides assistance for tools like Class Collaborate for live virtual sessions, Panopto for lecture capture and video management, Respondus Lockdown Browser for secure online assessments, and Via and Aqua for various academic workflows. Furthermore, the CTL extends its support to address common issues encountered with textbook publisher-related platforms and resources, ensuring a smooth and effective learning and teaching experience for all users.

Information Technology Services
The Information Technology Services (ITS) department at GovState offers support for both hardware and software, ensuring that all GovState-issued devices operating on Windows and MacOS platforms are functioning optimally. This includes managing and troubleshooting any licensed software subscriptions provided by the university. If you are experiencing an issue that is not related to Blackboard, the ITS Helpdesk is readily available to provide prompt and efficient support to resolve your concerns and get you back on track.

Laptops are available on a first come first serve basis for Students. The process is simple to request a laptop. All requests will be reviewed and approved if criteria are met.

All students and faculty can have access to Microsoft Office products free of charge, including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Teams, and OneDrive.
