  • Where can I install the Blackboard Learn App?

    You may download the Blackboard Learn App on Apple and Android devices through the App Store or Google Play.

  • Is there a cost to install the Blackboard Learn App?

    There is not a cost to download the app, nor to connect to your GSU Blackboard account. After downloading the app, open and search for Governors State University, and login using your GSU credentials.

  • What if Governors State University doesn't appear in the search?

    If Governors State University does not appear in the search field, please contact GSU Blackboard Support for further assistance. We will make sure you are searching for the correct name and making sure there are not other technical issues preventing the name from appearing in the search.

  • Where do I receive assistance for username and password issues?

    Username and password issues are managed by the ITS Helpdesk, even for Blackboard.

  • How to I logout of the Blackboard Learn App

    The pop out menu (three-lined icon) is not always accessible. You may have to click the back arrow several times to get back to the main area of Courses, Grades, Due Dates, etc.

    • Select the three-lined icon in the lower left of the screen.
    • Select Log Out.
    • A confirm window appears. Click Log Out.
