Activity Stream

The Activity Stream in the Blackboard App allows users to receive institutional alerts from GSU, access course announcements, view Instructor changes to due dates and events, and more...

Courses

Courses contains the courses the Student completed, is currently enrolled in, and courses enrolled in the future.

Grades

Students can view grades for all courses, for individual courses, graded work, attempts, and feedback.

Due Dates

View Due dates for all courses or individual courses.

Profile

The same profile you setup in the web version of Blackboard Learn will be available in the Student app.

Offline Content

You may download course files, which can be accessed offline, when you have limited or no internet connectivity.

Push Notifications

Not to be confused with the Activity Stream notifications, which are only available within the app. Push Notifications appear on your mobile device (outside of the app) and can link you to the appropriate content.

Announcements

View important information from your Instructor within an individual course.

Assignments and Tests

Similar to the web version of Blackboard Learn, take online tests and submit assignments in the app, if applicable.

Discussions

Similar to the web version of Blackboard, the discussions tool is for sharing opinions and suggestions about course material.

Class Collaborate

Similar to the web version of Blackboard, the Class Collaborate tool is a web conferencing software that allows Instructors to have live lectures, prerecorded lectures, or virtual office hours.
