Akiko Ota has taught ESL,
higher education, and TESOL courses for over fourteen years in a community
college, various universities, and non-profit organizations. Fluent in
Japanese, English, and Spanish, Akiko’s primary responsibilities at Governors
State University include overall management of the current and prospective ESL
programming.
Akiko has attained M.A.
TESOL, M.S. Education and Ed.D. Educational Leadership degrees from Portland
State University in Portland, OR.
