Faye Terrell-Perkins has been a resident of Olympia Fields for over 25 years. She is a GSU alumna, educator and recognized thought leader experienced in creating leadership development programs that enhance efficacy and transform organizations. She serves as a mentor and leadership coach for clients in both the public and private sector.
  
Terrell-Perkins was the Executive Director for LAUNCH, the premier aspiring principal prep program in Chicago and Senior Executive Director for CLASS Leadership Development, an organization that supported school leaders at all stages of their careers, from the new to the veterans.
  
She was the Illinois Supreme Court non-attorney appointment to the Minimum Continuing Legal Education (MCLE) Board, responsible for overseeing the start-up and effective implementation of mandated professional development for all Illinois attorneys. She was appointed by the Illinois Supreme Court for 3 consecutive terms, until reaching the maximum 9 years of service in December of 2015.

Faye is a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated, the Josephine Elizabeth Seaton Franklin Foundation, Incorporated and the South Suburban Chicago (IL) Chapter of The Links Incorporated.

She is an avid art collector and lover of the arts.

In December, 2016 she joined Governors State University’s Center for Performing Arts (the Center) Advisory Board.
