Physical Therapy Scholarship for Social Responsibility and Advocacy


Dr. Rebecca Wojcik created this scholarship to help 2nd and 3rd year students in the Physical Therapy Doctorate program.



Eligibility:

  • • Minimum Requirement for GPA – 3.0
  • • Program – Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT)
  • • Must be a 2nd or 3rd year student in the DPT program

Documents Required:

  • • Student submits a 500 - 1000 word essay describing how he/she/they have demonstrated advocacy and social responsibility to address societal needs for health and wellness since beginning the DPT program

  • • Student must submit at least one letter of recommendation, preferably from an individual or individual on behalf of a group who has benefitted from the student's advocacy activities or addressing of societal needs for health and wellness. Letters of recommendation from a CHHS faculty member will be accepted.

Award Information:

Award amount is $1,000.

Note: Award amounts may vary based on funding, availability, and addition, if any, to principal. Amount awarded shall not exceed tuition costs.
