The Veterans Resource Center is your “One-Stop Shop” for campus military connected events and services.

Governors State University helps you earn your degree as you pursue an advanced military role or civilian career. We're here to support veterans, active-duty service members and their family members who are pursuing their education. The majority of our staff is military-connected with a shared desire to continue to serve. The camaraderie you have experienced in the military lives on here at GSU, and we look forward to helping you find purpose forever.

Tuition and Fees rates for GSU

Eickhoff Family Veteran's Fund:

Mr. Eickhoff, a Chicago Heights native, started his relationship with GSU in 1980, when he began his MBA program. “Reflecting back, I realize that my career and life changed the most after receiving my degree from GSU,” Eickhoff told GSU Foundation CEO Will Davis. Now, almost thirty years later, he is eager to give back to his fellow veterans and his alma-mater—in a way that offers immediate, tangible and tactical support. He established an Emergency Fund to support GSU student veterans with immediate needs, such as books, gas cards, and fees. These micro grants shall be awarded on an “as-needed” basis in fall & spring semesters.
