We're excited and ready to assist you in making the most of your graduate experience here at GSU. Whether you're new to our campus or you decided to return after completing your undergraudate degree at GSU, we're confident our Graduate Orientation will help you to identify available resources that will help you make a smooth transition to graduate studies.
Participation in our optional two-hour orientation program will provide you with information about university resources, and an opportunity to meet with future classmates, faculty members and university administrators. Additionally, graduate students will have dedicated time with our Dean of Graduate Studies and meet with representatives from GSU’s Graduate Professional Network.
PLEASE NOTE: Some graduate programs and colleges may supplement our University-wide program with their individualized graduate orientation programs, contact your department or program for specific program orientation questions.
2020 Spring Graduate Orientation Dates
Register for our Spring 2020 Graduate Orientation now by clicking the date you would like to attend, which will take you to a separate registration page. Once on the registration site, use the same login you created when you applied to GSU, not your student email address. If you have issues with registration, you can call New Student Programs at 708-235-6819 or Admissions at 708-534-4490 for assistance.
All orientation sessions are scheduled for two-hours in length, but please plan to arrive 30 minutes to an hour before start time to take your Student ID photo, attend the resource fair, and take a campus tour as time permits.
