Housing application for Prairie Place
The 2023-2024 Housing Application is open to current and newly admitted GSU students.
Please review the Important Rules and Regulations and 2023-2024 University Housing Handbook prior to submitting your housing application to live in Prairie Place. The 2024-2025 University Housing Handbook will be uploaded during the summer 2024 term.

Fall 2024 Application
| March 1, 2024 Fall housing application opens to nonresidents on March 15, 2024. Students that already live in housing will have access to this application starting at the beginning of March. Room assignments will be sent out in the Summer. |
Students who apply for housing starting at a time other than the
start of the fall semester are only contractually obligated to complete
the balance of time on the contract they sign and are billed only for
the time they live in University Housing.
When ready to apply for housing, please click on the Apply to University
Housing>>link below. Your GSU username and password is needed to
begin your application. If you are an admitted GSU student and cannot
remember your username or password, please contact the ITS Help Desk at
708.534.4357.
COVID NOTICE: we are waiting on information and direction from the Illinois Board of Higher Education and the state of Illinois Governor's office regarding fall term operations. As such, we will not be sending out Housing Assignment letters until we are updated. Any updates about the fall term will be sent to GSU student emails.
If using Internet Explorer 11 (IE 11), the compatibility view must be set to off, which is the default setting for IE 11. If you are having trouble viewing or navigating the application with IE 11, please use another version of IE or another browser (Chrome, Firefox, etc...)
