Lorena Diaz

Lorena Diaz is a Retention Coach for the Academic Resource Center; she will be working with students under CAS majors. Lorena is a first-generation college student. She received her Associate Arts degree from South Suburban College in 2019 and her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Governors State University in 2021.

 Daisy Lozano

I am a first-generation Latinx student graduate. I earned my degrees at South Suburban College and Northern Illinois University. I am very passionate about helping students shape their lives and contribute to their future success.  I am the retention coach for the College of Business and College of Education.  My door is always open or schedule and appointment to chat. 

Lester(Van) Moody

Lester (Van) Moody is from the Chicagoland area, who is passionate about helping students to become successful in their college careers. Van is an Alum of GSU, earning his Bachelors in Business Administration-Finance. He is currently pursuing his Master’s in Educational Leadership-Higher Education Administration. He is the Retention Coach for the General Studies students.
