Wonsuk Cha is an Assistant Professor of Management at Governors State University starting August, 2018. He earned an MBA from Cleveland State University and he also earned a Ph.D. in Business Administration from the University of Texas Rio Grande Valley. Before joining academia, Wonsuk worked in various fields, including a franchising company and a hospital, over ten years. He likes running and swimming. His teaching interests include Strategic Management, Business and Society, Business Ethics, and International Business. He likes to tell students, “Enjoy your classes.”
Wonsuk’s research interests include Strategic Leadership, Corporate Philanthropy, Corporate Social Responsibility, and Quality Management. Specifically, he is interested in the relationships among organizational leadership contexts, corporate philanthropy, and corporate strategies. He highly values collaborative research. His intellectual contribution has been recognized by publishing peer-reviewed journals, including Management Decision and International Journal of Quality & Reliability Management. He likes to connect new insight from students to his research as well.
