Tingting (Tina) He is an Assistant Professor of Marketing at Governors State University starting August 2019. She earned a PhD and an MSBA in Marketing from Washington University in St Louis, and an MPhil in Marketing from the University of Manchester. Prior to joining GSU, Tina worked in various institutions in academia for about 10 years, including many years in the Chicago area.
Her teaching interests include Marketing Management, Marketing Strategy, Marketing Analytics, Marketing Research and International Marketing. Her research interests include quantitative modeling in marketing and consumer behavioral research. She is also interested in cross-cultural research and managerial marketing research. She has published in various peer-reviewed journals, including Marketing Science and Quantitative Marketing and Economics.
Tina likes to share with her students the latest progresses in both academic research and marketing practice. She also likes to collaborate with both her peers and students in research and teaching practice. She strives to make her students learn interesting new knowledge in her classes, and hopes her research contributes to both academia and industry. Tina likes hiking, traveling, reading and watching ballet, opera and sports.
