STAFF PROFILE
"I am an instructional designer with over 15 years experience at the higher education and K-12 levels. Before coming to Governors State full time, I was a middle school STEAM educator in Chicago's west suburbs teaching digital art, coding, animation and video, robotics, keyboarding and internet safety for about 15 years, and during that time I also taught at the higher education level as an adjunct in website development, office applications, and graphic design at Triton College in River Grove, Illinois.
Previous to my career in education I spent over 10 years as a graphic designer and pre-press artist in the printing industry as well as a free-lance graphic designer and web developer. I have also painted murals professionally, and I spent 20 seasons as a professional baseball and softball umpire from Little League up to NCAA Division I, even running my own officials association for 9 years before hanging up my gear due to permanent cartilage damage in my knees."
