FACULTY PROFILE

Dr. Li-Wei Peng is an Associate Professor in the Division of Education at Governors State University where she has been a faculty member since 2019. She is the Coordinator/Advisor of the Online Teaching and Learning Certificate Program.

Dr. Peng completed her Ph.D. at Ohio University and her M.A. studies at San Francisco State University. Her research interests lie in the area of information, communications, and technology literacy in STEM education and instructional design and selection, integration, and evaluation of technology. She also has collaborated actively with researchers in several other disciplines of teaching English to speakers of other languages (TESOL), particularly computer-assisted language learning (CALL).

Li-Wei has served as a reviewer for the Contemporary Issues in Technology and Teacher Education Journal (CITE) and Society for Information Technology and Teacher Education International Conference (SITE). In addition, she has served on the Academic Program Review Committee and the Retention to Graduation Committee at Governors State University.

Dr. Peng is the instructor for undergraduate topics in educational technologies and graduate topics in online teaching and learning.
