Dr. Steele began working at GSU in August 2022. He earned his Ph.D. in Counseling Psychology from Loyola University Chicago. Before joining the faculty at GSU, Dr. Steele worked as a staff psychologist in the Health Services department at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Dr. Steele's research and professional interests include racial/cultural identity development, social justice advocacy, multiculturalism, group psychotherapy, and student development/mentorship. When away from work, Dr. Steele enjoys spending time with family, traveling, urban hiking, podcasts, and documentaries.
