Production Policies and Procedures
Policies
All sales are final. There are
no refunds or exchanges on single ticket or group sales. More detailed
information can be found here.
Children
All children must have
their own tickets. We suggest children under the age of one year not attend
performances. Children's ticket prices are available for select performances. Children 12 and under may attend performances without showing Proof of Negative Test, but must be fully masked at all times if age 2 or older.
Late Seating
Late seating is at
the discretion of the house manager. Guests arriving late may be seated in a
designated section and may take their ticketed seats during intermission.
Electronics and Recording Devices
Audio and visual
reproduction of any kind is prohibited. Please refrain from bringing cameras
and recording equipment to the theater. Please turn off all electronic devices
that produce sound or light and that may interrupt the performance.
Smoking
Governors State
University is a smoke-free campus. Smoking and tobacco products indoors and
outdoors on campus property including parking lots and in parked cars are
prohibited. Littering the remains of tobacco products or any other related
waste product on campus is further prohibited.
Emergency Fire Exits
Emergency exits may be
found outside each door to the hall and are marked accordingly. The lighted
"Exit" sign nearest your seat is the shortest route outdoors. Do not
use the elevator for an emergency exit.
Face masks are optional on campus for ages TWO (2) and up, even if vaccinated. Ticket holders agree to comply with this COVID-19 safety procedure. Patrons who do not abide by stated procedure may be asked to leave the premises.
Refunds will not be provided to those who do not comply with the Center's
COVID-19 Policy.
Hand sanitizer will be made readily available throughout the venue and patrons are strongly encourage to make use of them.
If you are experiencing any of these symptoms of COVID-19, stay home and do not attend an event:
• Fever or chills
• Cough
• Shortness of breath or difficulty breathing
• Fatigue
• Muscle or body aches
• Headache
• New loss of taste or smell
• Sore throat
• Congestion or runny nose
• Nausea or vomiting
• Diarrhea

Lost and Found
Found articles should be left with staff in the box office. To
determine whether a personal article has been turned in to our Lost and Found,
please call Patron Services Manager at 708.235.2811 or the Box Office at
708.235.2222. Items such as wallets and keys may be turned in to GSU Department
of Public Safety (DPS). DPS can be reached at 708.534.4900.
Elevators
An elevator serving
the balcony is located at the east end of the main floor lobby.
Restrooms
Restrooms are located
in the Celebrity Gallery in the Main Foyer. Additional restrooms with
changing tables are located in the B wing next to the Box Office.
Assisted Services and Seating
Special
seating areas for wheelchair accessibility are available. Please contact the
Box Office in advance to secure a seat in this area. Audio amplification is
available for the hearing-impaired free of charge. A driver's license or other
identification is all that is required for deposit.
Streaming Events
You will receive a link to access your purchased event 24 hours prior
to the start time via the email addressed you used to purchase this event. If
you have issues locating the email with the link, please check your spam folder
or contact tickets@govst.edu.
If you register within 24 hours of the event, you will receive
the access link immediately. You will
have access to the event for at least 48
hours after its listed start time.
If you register after a performance premier date, your link access will be sent within 24 hours of your purchase date on the next business day.
We are not responsible for personal device, wifi, or broadband
technical issues. However, we are available to help you as best we can. Contact
tickets@govst.edu or call us at (708) 235.2222 and leave a message for box
office personnel to return your call. We
will make every effort to contact you within 2 business days.
There are no refunds or exchanges.
Your ticket purchase is not transferable. Sharing the event link and access code outside
of your household is prohibited.
You may purchase for multiple households. To do so, you will need to
make a separate purchase for each household and provide a different name and
email address associated with that viewing household.
