During his time as an investigative reporting intern with the Invisible Institute, Chris worked through the Governors State University Center for Community Media to produce a compelling story on law enforcement accountability. His article, Illinois Law Requires Transparency in Police Killings, examines the challenges of enforcing Illinois' Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) to obtain critical police records in cases involving fatal shootings.
