The women’s team of the GSU Table Tennis Club has been invited to compete in the 2010 College Table Tennis National Championships organized by the National Collegiate Table Tennis Association (NCTTA), on April 9 to 11, in Waukesha, Wisconsin.According to GSU coach and club sponsor, T.J. Wang, “There are 18 divisions consisting of over 130 schools in the NCTTA. Only the top 16 women’s teams qualify to go to the National Championship each year.” This is the first year GSU has sponsored an organized table tennis club. The team’s success has been watched closely by rival schools in the Upper Midwest Region including University of Wisconsin-Madison, Purdue, Northwestern, University of Chicago, and University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee.
