Marketing Communications Project Request

Our "WorkZone" project request form gathers important details about your project so that we can determine whether we are able to take on the request as well as deliver a strong product. Please fill out all sections of the form.

Your first steps to request marketing services for your program or events are to enter a project request in our WorkZone online system:

  1. Log into WorkZone to enter a general or other request.
  2. Enter your event in 25 Live, even if it is virtual/online - if you want it to appear on the Master Calendar and in our Inside GovState weekly email newsletter.

Timeline

In order to review and consider your project, please submit a project request at least 6 to 8 weeks prior to the desired completion date.

The creative team (includes designers, photographer, videographer) requires at least 6 to 8 weeks for every project. This timing does not include printing and mailing. Production schedule does not start until all content is received (unless Marcom will be creating/co-creating the content).

Types of Projects

Our award-winning team provides many creative services including branding, marketing communications e.g., writing and storytelling, photography, graphic design, digital design, strategy, web including analytics/performance measurement and more. Some examples are as follows:

  • Photography: Event, Editorial, high priority marketing and enrollment initiatives.
  • Videography: We recommend working with DLMD for the most professional results. We can help with clarifying your objectives, target audience, scripting, storyboarding, etc.
  • Design: Print, digital, social media, consultation.
  • Strategy: Have an idea, but not sure how to execute? Have a goal, but unsure where to start?
  • Web: Website consultation, design, and major university initiatives.

If you are unsure on a project, please submit a project request and we will follow up with you. We welcome your partnership and will provide guidance if unclear.

Details

Who, What, When, Where, Why, How?

Who is your target audience? What do you want them to do? What's in it for them? What does success look like? What is your goal for this project?

We need as much information about your project as possible. We are not psychic, and if we want to provide the best advice for you on how to promote your department, event, whatever - the more we know, the more we can be helpful.

Project Review

Projects are considered in the context of university priorities, timing and capacity. In some cases, Marketing Communications will recommend an outside vendor best suited to meet your needs. There is no service charge for Marcom's support.

Please submit a project request by selecting the "Start Project Request" Link. This includes work such as event photography, strategy, graphic design, web and more. We review project requests weekly, and you will be contacted directly pending project approval.
