Registrar's Office Things to Know:

  1. Spring 2017 semester begins Tuesday, January 17, 2017.
  2.  Our normal office hours are 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. MTWF and TH 8:30 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. However, with the beginning of the Spring 2017 semester our hours will be extended.
  3. Beginning Monday January 9 through Monday January 23, 2017, our office hours will be: Mon, Tues, Wed & Thur 8:30 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. and on Friday 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Beginning Tuesday, January 24, our office hours will again be MTWF 8:30 am. to 5:00 pm and on TH 8:30 am. to 7:00 p.m.
  4. The  $100 late registration charge continues through Jan 17th.  For those that register on January 18, 2017 and later, the late registration charge increases to $200.

    Enrollment and Degree Verification

    Governors State University uses the National Student Clearinghouse to provide enrollment and degree verifications on behalf of the university.

    Loan or insurance companies, as well as any other third party should contact the National Student Clearinghouse directly for verification of your enrollment of degree at http://www.nslc.org/verifiers or 703.742.4200.

    Using the National Student Clearinghouse is the quickest way for lenders to verify enrollment at GSU.
