  • GSU Regional Online Writing Center

    +

You may send your paper online for revision suggestions or just ask a question about writing. A writing center consultant will respond within 48 hours, Monday through Friday. The consultant will suggest revisions for the most significant concerns in your paper and send it back so you can edit, proofread, and revise it. After twenty-four hours, once you have revised the paper, you may send it back for another consultation if you wish.

The Writing Center will send a copy of your paper, complete with our comments, tracked edits, and suggestions for revision, to your instructor. If you do not wish your instructor to view the edited version of your paper, you must specify your wish not to have your instructor sent a copy of the annotated paper. Simply write Do Not Contact Instructor in the subject line of the email. Otherwise, your instructor will receive our feedback and suggestions.

*Please note that the Writing Center will do its best to respond to you within 24-hours of your submission, but responses cannot be guaranteed within that time frame during the summer term, Thanksgiving weekend, or winter break. Also, the Writing Center strongly advises students not to submit a paper for an online consultation less than forty-eight hours before it is due.

Give us the necessary information and email your paper as an attachment to gsgrowl@govst.edu.(The Writing Center can only accept Microsoft Word .doc or .docx files. No PDFs, Google Docs, or secured files that require a password to open will be accepted).
