On March 8, four CBPA graduate students – Diane Gorka, Alethia Pollard, Edidiong Udonkong, and Arriahn Tucker – traveled to Barbados and started the two week long Barbados MBA Student Engagement Program. This exciting program is offered by Indiana University Kelley School of Business with grant funding from US Agency for International Development. The GSU students will be paired with IU Kelley School students and University of West Indies students and work with local businesses as consultants.

Faculty and administrators at CBPA believe programs like this provide great opportunities for our students to gain first-hand experience working with business clients in an emerging economy. Not only will they be able to apply what they have learned in their MBA/MSA coursework in real-world business settings to solve complex problems, they will also have opportunity to experience a different culture while working with people from different backgrounds in a group setting.
