Event Overview

Kim Olver

Olver created the Mental Freedom®, a psychoeducation approach to counseling and coaching, to provide people with the tools they need to handle life’s challenges.

Attendees will learn:

  1. 1. The difference between responsibility and response-ability
  2. 2. The purpose of trust in relationships
  3. 3. The difference between disempowering and empowering language
  4. 4. Narratives that build up self-esteem, rather than tearing it down
  5. 5. The purposes of emotional and physical pain with biological causes
  6. 6. The inherent benefits of painful experiences

This special event is open to GovState faculty, staff, alumni, and community members. This is a great workshop for counselors, teachers, and coaches.

Workshop participants will earn six CEs.

We hope to have you join us!
