Talk with Julie to learn which of our degree programs might be right for you!
Welcome to the College of Health and Human Services! I’m Julie Anderson, Coordinator of Program Recruitment for the College of Health and Human Services at Governors State University. I can help you if you are thinking about starting one of our programs: Addictions Studies, Community Health, Communication Disorders, Health Administration, Health Informatics, Nursing, Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy, or Social Work.
I attend many community events representing GSU and the CHHS. It is a great opportunity to talk with people of all ages about their lives, their dreams, their future, etc. I love recruiting because I am helping people understand how they can get started in achieving their goals, or discovering what they really want to do with their lives. When I am talking with prospective students they generally ask three questions: What programs do you have? What does it cost? and How long will it take to finish? and I am able to provide the answers.
Everyone’s life is different. Not everyone goes straight from high school to college or knows what they want to do. I enjoy seeing students I have recruited on campus taking classes, because I know that I was able to help them find their way.
If you have questions about the programs in the College of Health and Human Services, or want to talk about how to start your educational journey, call or email me and I will get you the information you need.
