About
thE Fest
Your Center for Performing Arts is committed to connecting
diverse artists with audiences and connecting artists with creative
organizations in hopes of fostering new relationships and generating
performance opportunities for our artist members.
We recognize the difficulties facing our cultural community;
difficulties caused by our shared and imposed isolation. But we believe that
artists around the globe have used this opportunity as inspiration, to create
and shape new work that expresses the heart and heals the soul. We ask you to
enter a new phase with us and share your important work with the
community.
The goal of the Take Five Fest is to provide artists—of every
discipline, artistic goal, age, level and experience—with a platform for
engaging new audiences.
WHO SHOULD SUBMIT?
The following are examples of submissions that we have received and continue to seek:
- Comedians – stand-up, sketch, and more
- Actors and Performers – short dramatic scenes, storytelling, and performance art
- Dancers - original choreography
- Visual Artists may submit time lapse video of their creative process as well as a filmed artist statement
- Musicians – guitar, piano, flute, and beyond (original compositions, covers, or unique arrangements)
- Singers – original compositions, covers, accompanied by live music or recorded tracks

This list is by no means comprehensive.
