The GSU Dance Company seeks dancers from all dance backgrounds and skill levels for their 2019/2020 performance season. The GSU Dance Company creates and performs student, faculty, and guest choreography in the styles of jazz, contemporary, African, hip-hop, and tap dance. The company is open to all students, faculty, staff, and community members.
The GSU Dance Company will perform in the mainstage show "From Tina to Beyoncé: 50 Years of Female Empowerment" on April 16, 2020. Other performances will take place throughout fall and spring semesters.
Auditions will be held on Monday, September 9, 2019 on the Center for Performing Arts Stage at 7:30 p.m. with registration is at 7:15 p.m. If you can not make the audition date, contact Megan Lindsay to schedule an alternative date and time.
Auditions will be conducted as a dance class in the style of contemporary, jazz, African, and hip-hop. You will not be required to perform a solo.
