Welcome to the Counseling Lab at Governors State University. This training facility was created for two purposes, to train counselors and to serve the community.
We provide multifaceted services for individuals, couples, families and groups. We strive to approach people and their situations from a wellness prospective.
You may arrive with life struggles, but our goal is that you will
leave with hope.
We balance the needs of our advanced-level,
master's trainees by providing quality services in our state-of-the-art
Counseling Lab.
The lab may be small, but behind the scenes is a
high-technology process that streamlines your experience from the first phone
call to our office throughout your counseling experience. Your case is supervised of faculty.
Our counselors-in-training are supervised by

well-being.
Our services are FREE, but the training and
