APA (American Psychological Association)
APA format changed on July 1, 2009. There is now a 6th edition manual for APA style available in bookstores.
Below you will find online resources that have been updated to correspond with the 6th edition. Shortly after the release of APA's 6th edition, several errors were acknowledged by the American Psychological Association. However, these errors are minor and do not affect the more substantial changes that most writers will employ. Please see the corresponding link below (APA 6th Edition Errors) for clarification.

MLA (Modern Language Association)
MLA has created a 7th edition which contains differences from the 6th edition. The manual is available in bookstores, but not all online reference sources have updated their content. However, the "Easy Writer" has updated its content and the Purdue OWL has a section listing the MLA updates.
