Please use this document to assist you in the initial steps for applying to the University, registering for classes, and connecting with your military benefits.
There are a few things that you will need to finalize the admissions process and get you accepted into the university.
* Apply to the University; either on - line or in person. The one-time $25 application for undergraduate students, $50 application fee for graduate students, and $75 fee for doctoral students is waived for all military veterans, pending proof of military service.
*Provide an official transcript from your high school (or GED program) and previously attended colleges or universities.
*Provide a copy of your DD214 (or Enlisted Records Brief) to prove military service.
*Submit a copy of your Certificate of Eligibility (COE) for education benefits: The VA will mail this to you, after completing the Veterans On Line Application (VONAPP) at www.va.gov. *Submit a copy of ISAC Certificate of Eligibility (if needed) 800-899-4722
*Complete your financial aid application (www.fafsa.ed.gov) GSU School Code is: 009145.
*Complete the Joint Service Transcript Application (JST) https://jst.doded.mil/smart/. In order to receive college credit (and employment credit) for your military service, please complete the application then send the unofficial transcripts to GSU Veterans Resource Center.
