ACESSS

ACESSS is an acronym for Access to a College Education Student Support Services. This program designed to help Governors State University students make most of their college years by offering the academic and counseling support. ACESSS  guides and assists students during their baccalaureate education and encourages them to seek post graduate degrees.

A recent study conducted by the United States Department of Education, which traced 5800 TRIO SSS students in their first year of college, found that the TRIO students were more than twice as likely to complete their first year of college as the comparison group.
