Steps to claim your spot:

1. Deposit:

·    Pay your $50 Enrollment Deposit at myGSU web portal -  https://mygsu.govst.edu/.  

If you need to reset your password, please visit  https://password.govst.edu/accounts/Reset

·     Login into MyGSU and click on the Deposit Now “Click Here” link

·     Confirm login within the Payment Center and pay your $50 Enrollment Deposit
 

Other Payment Options:

·    Credit card payments can be made over the phone at the Cashiers Office at 708-534-4055. Tell the Cashier you are making a payment toward your Enrollment Deposit.  Your GSU student ID number is provided above.

·     Visit campus and pay by check, money order, cash or credit card.  Please make sure to call the Cashiers Office in advance to confirm their hours at 708-534-4055.  Bring your GSU student ID number with you.

 

Once you submit your deposit, you will receive information about GSU's ROAR orientation and registration events for new students. Formally accept Governors State University’s offer of admission by completing and submitting the Enrollment Confirmation Form.  You must also submit a $50 non-refundable enrollment deposit, which will be applied to your first semester tuition and fees.

2. Financial Aid:

Complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). FAFSA determines eligibility for financial aid beyond scholarships and awards. Governors State University school code for the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) is 009145

Federal money may still be available, and this information is needed to complete your financial aid package. Make sure you provide your social security number on your FAFSA so we can award your financial aid! Without your social security number listed on you FAFSA we cannot award you.

 

3. Immunization Records:

Governors State University is partnering with Med Proctor to submit your immunization records. You can create an account in MedProctor using your GSU email address. Med Proctor allows you to upload documents to verify immunization compliance. For more information visit our immunization page GSU Immunizations. You must submit proof of immunizations to secure your enrollment in classes and AVOID a HOLD on your academic record. The hold will prevent you from accessing grades and registering for classes. 4. Final Transcript:

Ensure all of your final official transcripts have been submitted to GSU. This may include final high school transcripts reflecting your graduation date, any dual credit transcripts from the awarding college/university, or all available official college/university transcripts if transferring to GSU. Official transcripts can be sent by mail or electronically to the following:
