Prairie Place Floor Meeting

Yoga and Walking Meditation in the Nathan Manilow Sculpture Park
5:30-7:30pm, Meet on the lawn in front of the sculpture pictured above ("Paul" by Tony Tasset)
Join Liz Smith of serendipityyogaandwellness.com for an opportunity to merge yoga, meditation and creative expression. Begin with a 45-minute yoga class designed for individuals with all-levels of yoga experience. Following class, you will be led through a walking meditation in the Nathan Manilow Sculpture Park. Participants will stop at each piece of art for a guided meditation designed to inspire creativity, peace and artistic expression. Be sure to dress comfortably to move and walk. Participants should be able to bear weight in the hands and kneel. Bring water, and a yoga mat. If you do not have one, extras will be available. The event will be rescheduled if it rains.

Class of 2021/22 Day Party
12noon-2pm, E-Lounge
Calling all Class of 2022 (freshmen) and Class of 2021 (sophomores): come mix and mingle, have some FREE lunch, and listen to good music. Freshmen will also receive their FREE Class of 2022 shirts and take their class picture. Sponsored by New Student Programs. Following this event, we will go get ready for Convocation.

Convocation and Ice Cream Social
Immediately following 22/21 Day Party (Convocation officially begins at 3:00pm) - Center for Performing Arts
All freshmen, sophomores, and other students will meet in the Center for Performing Arts (CPA) Green Room by 2:30pm to line up for Convocation. During Convocation, each class will be announced as they enter the CPA. The Class of 2022 (freshmen) will receive their special honor cords. Sponsored by the President's Office.
