Program Mission
The Student Enrichment Program (SEP) mission is to provide programming, support, and resources that will promote academic excellence, degree completion, self-awareness, socialization, and professional development to first generation, low income, and academic probation students. The purpose of the program is to increase graduation and retention rates among the population served at GSU.
Purpose and Goals
The purpose of the SEP is to support and monitor students academic experience at GSU by assisting them in defining and then accomplishing their personal academic goals.
The program's goals are to provide academic support services that will aid in retention and graduation, create a supportive learning environment, aid in developing an appreciation for diversity, and expose students to professional development experiences that will promote the expansion and maintenance of self-esteem.
