Governors State University is more than just a place to earn your degree. At GSU, we offer the facilities and services to make your university experience successful, enjoyable, and fulfilling.
We encourage students to investigate all the university has to offer as you study and plan for your future.
Academically, the university provides full library, research, and computer facilities. Tutoring in specific areas is available through the Academic Resource Center and Writing Center.
The Office of Financial Aid helps qualified students accesses the funds needed to pay for educational expenses. The Office of Career Services offers guidance as students select their degree programs and graduates begin their careers.

Student Life at GSU includes more than 40 clubs and organizations, the Recreation and Fitness Center, and special on and off campus events that help create opportunities for a rich and varied social experience.
Because GSU is not a typical college campus, we are adept at offering innovative and unique opportunities for both academic growth and community enjoyment for our students and their families and friends.
